Yeah Scotty, pro use would be risky. Funny thing, when I tried JBL 2420s at 500 1st order they clacked like crazy, quick trip to the volume control.

Depending on the additional cost the 416-8As would be a good choice for home.
If there are issues with the 421s you might be able to have GPA recone them to 416s.

Either way I seriously doubt the A-7s will compare to your 19s in the home sound stage.

I much prefer the 802/808 drivers over the 806s but fully agree the XO for them is 800Khz.

Good that you are searching for opinions because there is no shortage of those here but the vast majority of them are backed up with many years of hands on knowledge. What we can't help you with is your own ears and you just might love the way they sound exactly as they are. Thats OK too but just my opinion!
